CSI, a Globally Preferred Credential That Can Help You Advance Your Career

MESSAGE FROM HONORARY CHAIRMAN EMERITUS

Dear Friends,
In light of CSI World Headquarters’ regional presence and global partnerships, we have also expanded our membership categories to accommodate the needs of our growing membership base. This means, in addition to the existing categories of Associate membership (ACSI) and Certified membership (CSI), we are now introducing the following new categories:

Undergraduate Member

This membership category is for all university students who are currently pursuing undergraduate degree programmes (or equivalent courses) in commerce or finance-related fields of study. Interested candidates should complete the appropriate application form and include their course transcripts together with it.

This membership is free for the duration of their programmes. Upon graduation, the student will be automatically upgraded to Associate membership (ACSI) and enjoy a fee waiver for one (1) year.

Fellow Member

This membership category is reserved for professionals who are veterans in their industries. They would also be professionals who have a highly reputable public standing, having made a positive impact on society with their various contributions in the field of systemic risk management.

Fellow membership is strictly by invitation of the Board of Governors only. The invitation may be extended to non-members or current Certified or Certified (with Specialization) Members.

For more information on membership categories and their respective criteria, please send your questions to: kenneth@csiworldhq.com

Certified (with Specialization) Member

This membership category is for all current Certified (CSI) members who wish to explore a particular systemic risk management skill set in greater depth. There are four topics of specialization that candidates can choose from, they are:

  • Fraud Risk Management
  • Financial Statement Analysis & Detecting Financial Statement Fraud
  • Digital Forensics
  • Interviewing & Profiling Techniques

Applicants must submit a dissertation of 5,000 words on any one of the above topics to the board of governors for review. Upon approval of the membership, an applicant’s CSI credentials will also reflect his area of specialization. For example, a Certified member whose dissertation on Fraud Risk Management is approved by the board of governors will bear the credentials CSI (FRM).
